It's a fun game, but some of the buttons seem intentionally placed to make you accidentally purchase things. Specifically, when you're opening a chest an "open another" button appears before the close button. If you press that button and don't have enough gems, it automatically tries to make a purchase and the button is in the same spot as the "1-tap buy" button that pops up.

Been playing this game for a few months now. In that time, they have added obnoxious sale pop-ups every time you open the app, they have completely wiped out perma-items and essentially zeroed out cumulative progress, switching to a new equipment system, before wiping out progress AGAIN and switching BACK to perma-items - all the while there are no new worlds past 20. In this time, the luck be a landlord devs released a mobile version with no ads or microtransactions. Play that instead.

This game had its moments when it first came out, but the developers need to constantly change the game has tanked it. Add items, sell them for diamonds, remove items, refund diamonds, add different items with exactly the same purpose as the originals, wait a few weeks, remove those too. I wouldn't trust the stability of game mechanics enough to spend a dime on this again. Anything you buy is likely to be removed from the game swiftly.

Fun game for the most part, but some items don't do what they claim to do, so you will lose because the description of the item doesn't match the actual in game behavior. e.g. the recycling bin item says it adds a reroll capsule each round, but it doesn't do anything. Warding stones say it reduces the starting counters of curses, but I had 6 of them, and lost because curses still spawned with full counters. And can't progress on second one, cause monster spawners stop showing up as choices.

Slots based rogue like is a great idea, but I would rather pay a few dollars for Luck Be A Landlord than pay $20 to remove reward and gameplay ads. It didn't used to be this bad. I can get maybe 5 spins before I have to wait for an ad to finish. It wasn't this bad before, but it's made the game very unenjoyable. I remember when it was all ads removed for $10, so I guess they're falling on hard times.

One of the best mobile gaming experiences. I thought it was a weird idea, but it's implemented so well. Only reason it isn't 5* is it's easy to misclick some of the real money currency options and there is no confirmation, it just buys the chest. I spent some money, and figured I'd save some of the tournament/achievement rewards... Just to fat finger a chest I didn't want.

ive loved this game ever since it came out, but im having an issue lately. in the upgrades section for arcade lady it seems like i cant go past level 50. im level 57, but its just stuck at the level 50 line. also all the buttons that say "upgrade" have completely dissappeared. im not sure whats causing this. i will continue to play it because i still really enjoy this game, but it is frustrating and i hope it will be fixed soon

After the last update, the game faces some major issues. 1 - "Multiplayer" tournament. A blob of people around 65k - 500k score and a blob between 1.9b - 2.7b. All because I made a run with 2.4b score. Except there is nobody between. If you wanna win, you have to submit your run at the end. 2 - Performance and data usage. After every spin, the game lags for about a second and then proceeds functioning, sending about 300kb of data. It used to be smooth sailing before. Otherwise a good game...

The game itself is really fun, enjoying the variety of the different levels. Loses 2 stars due to the frequency of ads and the cost to remove ads is overpriced. Wouldn't surprise me if the ads are actually getting more frequent to annoy me into buying ad free because it definitely feels like they are getting more frequent and after reading other reviews it seems buying the ad free only changes it so you get bombarded with their micro transaction ads instead of ads.

If you don't already have an older version of this game, don't bother. Most recent series of updates have just been pure greed with new tiers of reward chests that cost $20 each, and now the game asks you for gems for addition items after certain spins, too. Also they nerfed the 'Coal' item which was already the worst thing in the game, and never buff anything.

  • SirDurtle

Overall good, but plagued by major item dilution. If you want to get a high score the objective best strategy is to delete your save data and start from scratch, because the item pool is significantly smaller. After you level up a few times, you unlock so many items that getting a good strategy going is nearly impossible. In short, the game could be fun, but the main thing standing between you and a new PB isnt strategy, but enormous amounts of luck
